Fresh Start Mentoring Expands to Pasco County, Partnering with Pasco Drug Court to Tackle Recidivism.

Fresh Start Mentoring is thrilled to announce a significant new partnership with the Pasco County Drug Court, presided over by the Honorable Judge Kimba Lewis. This collaboration aims to extend our successful mentoring program to individuals in the Pasco community, offering them a proven path to rehabilitation and a fresh start.

For over 15 years, Fresh Start has made a profound impact in Pinellas County, boasting an impressive 76% success rate in preventing reoffending among our participants, as verified by data collected through the Pinellas County Probation Offices. Our program's unique approach is recognized and respected, exemplified by our exclusive invitation to participate in the probation department's Face-It meetings, where new probationers learn about their responsibilities and are encouraged to sign up with our mentors.

Our program is distinguished not only by its effectiveness but also by its accessibility—it is the only free referral service available to participants of the drug court. The success rates among individuals who have engaged with our mentors are even higher than average, underscoring the efficacy of our approach.

With this expansion into Pasco County, Fresh Start Mentoring is excited to introduce our simple, yet impactful, life-changing strategies to more individuals, supporting them in their journey toward rehabilitation and reducing recidivism. We are committed to building stronger, safer communities and believe that through guidance and support, everyone deserves a chance for a fresh start.
